We are now taking orders for local, naturally raised meat—————————————————–
Some of our customers are vegetarians, but many have been asking for us to offer fresh local meat. Local meat is often sold frozen, which makes no sense because you can get Alberta beef fresh. We want to offer the best selection of local, NATURALLY raised meats. Kuinshoeve Meats is a shop on the Hampton Road, which has developed an extremely good reputation for fine cuts of fresh local meat. They opened their shop five years ago to serve their farm in Sussex. Their animals are grass-fed and are raised without the use of any chemicals or hormones. If you ever have any questions, feel free to call the shop at 847-2049 or stop in and see them. Jacob and Pieter are the owners.
Although we would love to raise our own animals, we feel that partnering with a well respected local shop is the next best thing. Some of you may already buy your meat at their shop. Our prices are the exact same as theirs, albeit rounded up or down to the nearest quarter, and we simply want to make it easier for you to buy your meat by having it fresh at our pickup points. They will prepare your meat fresh every day and we will pick it up in coolers on our way to the pickup points to meet our customers.
A handful of their products they sell in their store are not local. We are now offering a selection of their local products.
